French DJ and producer Atyss has been a driving force in the Psytrance scene since the mid-90s, mixing hypnotic sounds at raves and clubs across Paris. His journey quickly expanded beyond France, taking him to major events around the world, including BOOM Festival in Portugal (2008-2012), Alien Safari in South Africa, and gigs in Brazil, South Korea, Morocco, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, UK and Thailand.

Early in his career, Atyss collaborated with Patrick Rognant, promoter of RAVE UP on Radio FG, performing dynamic four-handed DJ sets. Over time, he transitioned into music production, drawing on his background as a trained sound engineer with experience in recording studios and post-production for cinema. This technical expertise helped him craft his signature sound: an intense, acid-driven Psytrance style, meticulously refined in his Paris-based studio.

Atyss’s musical approach blends deep, driving grooves with intricate psychedelic layers, reflecting his exploration in sound and visual arts. As the founder of Sonic Motion Records, he has released numerous tracks on both his own label and other international imprints. He has also served as a lineup manager for Gaia Concept, one of France’s pioneering Psytrance event organizers.

In parallel, Atyss explores new creative dimensions with his side project « Bonnie & Clyde », alongside Miss Yurika, blending live performances with fresh, dynamic energy.
