Deeper in Zen helped start Soular Records with Mind Warped and Onnomon in 2001. Releasing their first single on the compilation “Awakening” in 2001 which also featured artists like Atomic Pulse and Wizzy Noise.
Followed up by their 2nd album “Balance in 2002. The album “Insight” was released the following year in 2003.
In 2004 Deeper in Zen helped to put together another Soular Records compilation album featuring such pystrance producers as Atomic Pulse and Wizzy Noise.
DIZ spent two years in the studio recording a double album “TAO” which was released in 2005. TAO featured on CD of full on psytrance and the other CD was ambient chill out, to reflect the dualistic nature of the universe. Playing festivals across the planet in Morocco, Japan, Turkey, Europe and America Deeper in Zen built a reputation for hard hitting full on psytrance with a darker edge. In 2007 Deeper in zen released the album “SILENCE” with a more elaborate full on sound.
In 2006 Deeper in Zen joined with Sonic Motion Records out of Paris and began releasing singles on their various compilations. Working with Mad Maxx and United Beat Records Deeper in Zen was featured on two tracks “Kecak Ganda” and the hit “Rainbow Body State” which slammed dance floors the world over during the 2012 Mayan Colander year.
Originally as a solo artist DIZ has expanded to include fellow producer VEX to the lineup in 2022. Watch for new psychedelic madness trance coming in 2023.
